PRFM Hair Restoration 

PRFM (Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix) is and enhanced version of PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) which contains special cells called Platelets that can theoretically cause the growth of your hair follicles by stimulating cells in your follicles. These special platelet cells promote healing, accelerate tissue regeneration, and help form new cellular growth. PRFM's benefit to PRP is it provides a more stable release of growth factors leading to longer lasting results. 

The primary purpose of using PRFM in hair restoration is to stimulate inactive or newly implanted hair follicles into an active growth phase. To begin your treatment, your blood is drawn in the same way routine blood testing is drawn, such as a primary care physician’s office. Your blood is then spun in a centrifuge and your PRP is separated and removed. It is then transferred into another tube creating the PRFM solution. This highly concentrated platelet-rich plasma is then injected into your scalp in small injections.
